We’re on the hunt for a highly versatile, hands-on Head Chef to step into a Tournant (relief) role supporting venues across North Brisbane through to the Sunshine Coast.
This is not your standard Head Chef gig.
This role is built for someone who thrives on variety, can walk into any kitchen and take control, build teams up, stabilise operations and support venues when they need it most.

The Role
As a Tournant Head Chef, you’ll move across multiple venues supporting kitchens with:
Covering Head Chef leave
Supporting and rebuilding underperforming kitchens
Assisting with venue openings and relaunches
Training and developing junior chefs
Implementing systems, structure and standards
Menu development and food cost control
Driving consistency, leadership and team culture

What We’re Looking For
Proven experience as a Head Chef
Ability to walk into any kitchen and lead from the front
Strong financial acumen (food cost, labour, stock control)
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Highly organised and adaptable
Must have a car and be willing to travel
Flexible lifestyle and availability
